INDOOR AIR QUALITY MANAGEMENT

Air quality is not something that is often considered in a residential scenario.

According to researchers, during 90% of the time we spend indoors, there are unhealthy air factors such as volatile organic compounds, suspended particulates, mold and others entering our trachea and lungs invisibly, and increasing our risk of respiratory diseases, reduced immunity, and cancer. Improving indoor air quality and creating a healthy living space are important keys to today’s architecture.

Using air quality monitoring in residential settings offers several benefits, including:

  1. Health Protection – Helps detect pollutants like dust, mold, volatile organic compounds (VOCs), carbon monoxide, and allergens that can cause respiratory issues, allergies, or other health problems.

  2. Early Detection of Indoor Pollutants – Identifies harmful gases, particulate matter, and humidity levels that could lead to poor indoor air quality.

  3. Improved Respiratory Health – Beneficial for individuals with asthma, allergies, or other respiratory conditions by helping them avoid triggers.

  4. Mold and Mildew Prevention – Monitors humidity levels to prevent mold growth, which can damage homes and cause health issues.

  5. Carbon Monoxide and Radon Detection – Detects dangerous gases that are odorless and can be fatal if not identified early.

  6. Enhancing Sleep Quality – Poor air quality can affect sleep; monitoring helps optimize indoor air conditions for better rest.

  7. Energy Efficiency – Helps optimize ventilation and air purification systems, potentially reducing energy costs.

  8. Peace of Mind – Provides reassurance that the air in your home is safe, especially for families with young children or elderly members.

  9. Compliance with Smart Home Systems – Integrates with smart thermostats, air purifiers, and HVAC systems for automated air quality improvements.

  10. Long-Term Home Protection – Prevents structural damage caused by excess humidity, airborne chemicals, or poor ventilation.

Our Air Quality monitor connects to our control systems which in turn interfaces to the AC system or "fresh air" circulation system. So, issues with air quality can be diluted by forcing more air volume through the room and then switched back to its normal settings after the level returns to normal.

The monitor detects the following:

  1. Carbon Dioxide

  2. Temperature

  3. Carbon Monoxide

  4. Ozone

  5. Formaldehyde

  6. Humidity

  7. Fine Suspended Particulates (PM2.5)

  8. Total Volatile Organic Compounds (TVOC)

  9. Suspended Particulates ( PM10)

The innovative design of our Air Quality Monitor also earns extra points for LEED green building standards and WELL healthy building standards.

Maintaining healthy indoor air quality is essential for comfort and well-being. Our advanced air monitoring software continuously tracks air quality over a 24-hour period, identifying trends and pinpointing times when air quality has declined.

Real-Time Monitoring & Logs

🔹 Track Individual Pollutants – View specific pollutant levels, current air quality status, and                                                   historical trends for the day.
🔹 Instant Alerts & Action Logs – Receive notifications when air quality deteriorates and                                                          access a log of automated responses.

Seamless Integration with Your HVAC & Ventilation System

If your AC system includes a fresh air intake, that’s a great advantage! If not, our system can automatically switch your AC to ventilation mode to improve air circulation.

Additionally, we can control motorized windows and vents to optimize airflow, ensuring a healthier indoor environment.

24/7 Automated Air Quality Control

By integrating with our smart control system, you benefit from:

✅ Continuous Air Quality Monitoring – Detect and respond to poor air conditions automatically.
✅ Automated Ventilation Adjustments – Control AC settings, motorized windows, and vents as needed.
✅ Security-Linked Operation – If motorized windows or vents are in use, they can be tied to your alarm system status to remain closed when you're away, ensuring both security and efficiency.
